July....nothing like it!

Well, life with our sweet Amelia is awesome. She is such as good baby! For those who are interested, she only wakes up once or twice a night and pretty much only cries if she is really hungry.

At the beginning of the month, my grandparents drove down from Washington to bless Eva (my sweet niece) and Amelia. My dear friend Debbie made Amelias dress and it is gorgeous. I'll post pictures when I get them. Grandpa and grandma stayed at our house and we had a great time.

For the 4th of July, we went to the Annual Farnsworth Pasture of Fire and had a great time with Joel's family. Good food, good company and great entertainment. I think everyone will agree, the most entertaining was Joel's cousin running around in an American Flag speedo with a water gun. Amelia slept through the fireworks and everyone got their baby fix.

Joel started remodeling the bathroom last weekend and it has become more of project than we had originally hoped. The sub floor was rotted out, the plumbing and electrical were both a mess and it has become quite a stressor. Hopefully, we can get everything done soon. I'm excited to get all of my bathroom stuff out of the girls room when it is all done. I am grateful I haven't had to go without a toilet at all and I was only without a shower for two days.......He'll get it done.

This weekend, my mother in law came to visit from Cali. She stayed with us last night and said having our bathroom the way it is ," is like camping!" I happen to agree. She took us to dinner last night and watched the opening ceremonies with us. Because Joel had drill today, she hung out and got her share of grand baby time. We went to visit Grammie in the nursing home and had a Swenson family get together that was absolutely delightful.

Over the next few days, Joel hopes to finish the bathroom, get the set done for Fiddler on the Roof and has another Military exercise to attend. He's a little stressed but he's awesome. I know he'll make it.
