It has been a crazy month for us and we're only half way through! We had the end of the school semester.....finally. Joel has been remodeling the bathroom for a few weeks now. It's kinda been like camping. We have never been without a toilet and were only without a shower for two days. He had to go away on a military exercise in the middle of construction. As we speak, he is putting up drywall so we can get this done. While he was away last week, I took on the huge project of re-painting the kids rooms.....what was I thinking? I have a new baby!!! I survived and the rooms got done.
On a less crazy note, Miss Amelia has been in her first stage production! She had just turned 6wks old before opening night. She is playing the baby of Motel & Tsietel in Fiddler on the Roof. She does a great job. Everyone in the cast loves her and she has yet to cry on stage! She was added to the show 3 days prior to opening because Jerry Ellison, the director, hated the prop they were given for the baby. When I offered to bring her every night, he literally giggled. Yes, I made an 80+ yr old man giggle over being able to use my baby. Gotta love Mr E!
We'll see what the rest of the crazy month brings with school, soccer and dance all starting up!
